Roselawn and Mound Cemeteries

Burial spaces in Roselawn and Mound Cemeteries are currently $625.00 per space.  Financing is available.  Please call or come by our office for details on financing terms.  There is no annual fee for perpetual care.  That is included in the price per space.

There is a deed recording fee that is attached to each deed (there can be many spaces on a single deed).  This amount is set by the Coles County Recorder's Office, and is currently $51.00 per deed

The grave opening fee for a full burial is currently:

• $800.00 - Weekdays (Monday-Friday) non-Holiday
• $1,025.00 - Saturday 
• $1,250.00 -Sunday & Holidays

The grave opening fee for a cremation burial is currently:

• $450.00 - Weekdays (Monday-Friday) non-Holiday
• $625.00 - Saturday
• $800.00 - Sunday & Holidays (regardless of day-of-the-week)

The grave opening fee for an infant burial is currently:

• $360.00 - Weekdays (Monday-Friday) non-holiday
• $625.00 - Saturday
• $800.00 - Sunday & Holidays

     $275.00 Saturday

     $330.00 Sunday & Holidays
     

As we have stated before, we are a not-for-profit business.  We do not receive any funds from any governmental entities.  A portion of all burial costs go to a fund that is strictly for improvements to the cemetery (trees and plants, trash recepticles, road repairs, etc.).  These funds are not part of the general operations fund (payroll, supplies, etc.).  We have an annual donation drive that begins in April.  All donations to the Cemetery are tax deductible and are only used for improvements to the Cemetery, they are not put into the operating fund.  We are very thankful for any and all donations and strive to use the donations to make our Cemetery a more beautiful space to visit.

Effective January 2012, there will be a $25.00 fee payable to the cemeteries for placement of each new headstone/monument in both Mound and Roselawn.
